The first sign of not feeling well...

Mom was cooking dinner yesterday with Auntie Alena... And when they brought the food out to eat, this is what they found... Me. Completely asleep, half standing up, Wii remote still in hand, Cars game loaded and ready to play... Definitely a sign something was up. Sure enough I woke up the next morning with a fever and we're spending the rainy weekend inside.
Giraffes on ICE!
Every Wednesday I go ice skating with my classmates and another River School class at Central Park's Wollman Rink. Getting twenty of us in our coats, hats, gloves, school shirts and out the door onto a bus isn't the world's most envious job. And my vertical advancement is more of a detriment than an asset in this activity when I spend considerable time falling towards the ice! So I approach ice skating with the same observational techniques that I approach the world with... and then I master it!

My first Broadway show!
76/86 starts to grow up
While the Single Moms of 76 West 86th gather around over dinner and a bottle of wine to discuss the latest in life, we share our latest games with each other - running around between apartments, dressing up, playing pretend. Well now that we're a little bit older our interests have changed. Gracie's in Kindergarden now and I'll be there next year, so she was showing me a few things to look forward to...

Quote of the evening from Charlie to Gracie: I have to be your age to be good at that game.
